Azul (2017) is an abstract tile-drafting and pattern-building game for 2-4 players that plays in 30-45 minutes. Players take turns selecting colored azulejo tiles from shared factory displays and placing them onto personal mosaic boards to score points. The game rewards careful planning and features a satisfying tension between collecting the tiles you need and denying opponents the ones they want.
