West End Games was a pioneering American publisher founded in the 1970s, celebrated for its influential roleplaying games and miniatures wargames. The company is best known for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game and the D6 system, which defined how many players first experienced that universe in tabletop form. Though the company eventually ceased operations, its legacy endures through the D6 system's ongoing influence and the nostalgic affection of generations of roleplayers.
