Omaha Beachhead
Publie en 1987
Omaha Beachhead is a grand tactical simulation of the American amphibious assault against the German-occupied coast of Normandy on June 6, 1944 and the subsequent ten-day battle for the beachhead. In turns representing one day, each player controls a force of infantry, artillery, tank, anti-tank, flak, and ranger units. The map, which was drawn from US Army maps actually carried in the battle, is a 1:50,000 representation of Normandy showing all of the geographical features that played a significant role in the campaign.
