Rossyia 1917 is mid-high complexity game of the Russian Civil War in 1917 . It covers the military aspect of the civil war at an operational level. Units are brigades and divisions, rated for steps, combat, movement and shock (quality) value. The full-color map covers Russia from the Polish border to the Siberian plains, superimposed with a hexagonal grid, each hexagon representing 25 miles. The game is played by players alternating HQ units and using them to perform various actions, including moving military units and initiating combat. Rules cover shock combat, political events, rail movement, naval movement, air power, tanks, armored trains, reserves and more. Game consists of 37 pages of rules, 2 maps measuring 80cm by 60 cm, over 1000 counters and numerous charts.
