Africa Orientale

(from the rulebook :) Africa Orientale is a simulation of the campaign fought in the horn of Africa in 1940-41. At 32 miles per hex, the map covers the entire theater plus nearby areas. Each player controls the ground and air forces fighting for control of this region. Air units are based on groups of from 40 to 50 aircraft; ground units represent divisions brigades, regiments, and battalions. The rules use the basic The Europa Series system as a framework, with specialized rules covering the historical situation in detail.
