Screaming Eagles
Published 1987
Screaming Eagles is a jet fighter dogfight with a unique board that allows for some bizarre moves. players control 1 or 2 fighters & try to shoot each other out of the sky with missiles or cannons. Movement direction is determined by card play and movement distance is determined by die roll. When your fighter moves off the front edge of the board, it "loops" back to the back of the board and continues. Damage is assessed by die roll and several hits are needed to bring down a plane (unless you hit the cockpit or the fueltank). A great quick play with some new strategy and an "advanced" version in the rules. Remade into Mission Command Air
