The Quacks of Quedlinburg (2018) is a push-your-luck bag-building game for 2-4 players in which each player acts as a charlatan brewing dubious potions at a medieval market, playing in approximately 45 minutes. Each round players draw ingredient tokens from their personal bags one at a time, hoping to fill their cauldron as full as possible without drawing too many white cherry bomb tokens and causing an explosion. Purchasing new ingredients between rounds to improve your bag creates a satisfying progression loop that balances risk and reward.
