This is similar to the MLB Showdown game - but it makes use of an electronic bar code reader that resolves play selection. The defense and offense swipe their cards through the reader and then the reader requests a specific player card be swiped through and this will generate a play result. The swiping tends to be flaky (like any other card reader) - you can purchase booster packs to have a better selection of players and plays.
